As part of Vandenack Weaver LLC’s commitment to provide you, our valued client, with concierge-level legal services, we wanted to provide you with information regarding measures our firm is taking in response to the spread and outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) here in Nebraska and the rest of the country. In an effort to protect the health and safety of both our clients and staff, Vandenack Weaver is following and implementing guidelines recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In our efforts to minimize the chances for possible exposure to the Coronavirus, Vandenack Weaver will be practicing “Social Distancing.” The philosophy behind “social distancing,” simply means taking steps and precautions to stay away from and keep a distance from others, with the goal that by keeping a respectable distance from others we can prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. In implementing the act of social distancing Vandenack Weaver will be taking the following measures:
• We are politely requesting that any client who is ill to reschedule any scheduled meetings or conferences with us. Alternatively, if a client is ill, but is healthy enough and still wanting to still meet with us, please request that our scheduled meeting be set up remotely via the Zoom Video Conferencing platform our firm utilizes.
• Any client that does not want to come physically into our offices to meet is encouraged to avoid rescheduling a meeting and instead request to have the meeting conducted via the above-mentioned Zoom Video Conferencing platform. This program allows for remote video conferences as a substitute to physical face-to-face meetings.
• If you do come in to our offices for a meeting, please note we are following the CDC’s guidelines to do all we can to practice good hygiene and sanitation practices for all surfaces, doorknobs, and telephones.
• As part of our social distancing measures, we are limiting physical contact and may greet you with a wave instead of a normal handshake. This is both for your and our benefits.
We hope that in following these practices, we can do our part to prevent the spread of the infection from impacting our clients or our offices, and ensure we are still able to provide you with a high-quality level of legal services during this time of heightened concern in our community.
Separately, we will be providing a summary of legal issues to our clients. In the meantime, feel free to contact any of us.
