In his career, he had defended clients against discrimination and harassment claims in Iowa and Nebraska courts and in administrative proceedings in multiple states, including Nebraska Supreme Court arguments.
Matthew is a cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Previous to joining Vandenack Weaver, Dunning served as counsel to the Nebraska Association of School Boards and its technology subsidiary, Sparq Data Solutions, Inc,. His work with the Association included representation of the 501(c)(6)’s interests before the Unicameral and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
